Hello & welcome to my site!

 

This site is about the 6,5 month overland Asian journey that I made during September-March 2004/2005.

The journey started in my home country, Turkey. Then I went overland to Iran, Pakistan, India, Nepal, Myanmar, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos, Thailand again and then back to Turkey.

My journey was backpacker style, so I spent $12 a day, thanks to Lonely Planet & Rough Guides guidebooks.

Backpack in Asia is probably one of the most fun things that could be done in the world.

I tried to gather some useful information about my journey here, like the costs, statistics, suggestions etc.

Also you can see some multimedia like pictures and videos and also download some items.

By the way, Gezgin Rocker means something like Traveling Rocker. A combination of my two passions, traveling and rocking hard! :-)
