Thanks!!!Be careful wehn you withdraw money from the ATM. Look around to see that no one is spying on you. Some tourists were pickpocked / mugged soon after the got out of the ATM and the thieves maxed out the cards in no time using the codes they saw.

At an outdoor eatery don’t leave your handphone and wallet on the table

Don’t walk down a quiet alley in the city centre alone at night.

Don’t hop into a taxi driven by Indonesian.

The biggest annoyance for tourists in Malaysia is the taxi driver. Half of them are rude, smelly and greedy. If they refuse to use the taxi meter and you really need to get somewhere quick, just offer to add a few ringgit on top of meter fare.
