Backpacking in India
How long should I spend backpacking India?
From north to south? I’m not into lying on beaches for days at a time, or sitting being idle/relaxing, I would like to be on the go, with the odd day to allow myself to recharge. I don’t have a strict plan, want to see as much as I can, 6 months is the absolute maximum amount of time, but is it too much time? I’ve calculated that I’ll be spending 6 months in the other neighbouring countres, so if I go for 6 months in india, that’s a total of a year, far too long?

A monrh in Kerala soon went, Six months will go quickly too.
Kerala is wonderful. Scenery, people, Kathakali, beautiful poetry and singing, the cool fresh hill stations and the endless waterways.
Spend as long as you can. It.s so cheap to live, money isn’t a problem.
Read Arundhati Roy “The God of Small Things”
Sad, poignant, observant, humourus, beautiful, all in one.The story of young boy-and-girl twins in a village in Kerala, where a Bar Nowl sometimes sat on a bar in the roof of the pickle factory.

“It really began when the Love Laws were laid down.
The laws that lay down who should be loved, And How. And how much”
A book of life, the reality of Kerala. Tragedy, humour, beauty, love, not-love, politics and police, and an elephant.
Namaste.
